Ah, finally watched the Darclops (or Darklops?) Zero side stories. Don't know what I expected, exactly. Feel like I could have skipped them, since they don't appear to have much of a story. But of course, not taking any chance of missing something, I would never skip anything. IMHO, the second stage is slightly better than the first one.

I seem to be in an Ultraman-watching mood lately. It has been a while since I last felt this way.

Finally re-watched Ultraman Nexus, because I kept seeing a certain actress in other toku and not recognizing her was driving me nuts (seemed like she played against type). I came to the conclusion that she is not the cutest Nexus character, after all. Just that her love relationship is sweet ( Read more... )

So, finished NEO. And it is kind of embarrassing that I got through 26 episodes of Ultra Galaxy without realizing that Kumano...the 'Magician', is Mizorogi from Ultraman Nexus. It's safe to say that I don't think that these two characters have anything in common other than having the same actor...
